The
"litopenaeus vannamei" shrimp are cultivated in farm ponds,
under rigid sanitary and quality patterns in the State of Rio Grande
do Norte / Brazil.
This kind of shrimp, produced in the northeast of Brazil is known
world wide for it’s tradition and delicious taste since 1973.
It’s always good to remember that Rio Grande do Norte shrimp
production is around 80.000,00 tons per year.
We export fresh Shrimps, frozen shrimps, hyper-frozen shrimps and
also organic. When it comes to sizes we have the following : There
are several kinds of size but the most commercialized are : 60/80
(13 to 15 grams) and 80/100 (11 to 13 grams).
As
a luxurious delicacy, the shrimps are shipped on refrigerated trucks,
planes and ships, kept in isothermical packages which keeps the
nutritious and shrimp taste intact.
